I am a man with many hobbies, but the one that I will be talking about is playing piano. When I was a young kid, I saw someone at church who was very good at playing piano. He captured my attention with the skillfull riffs and intricate melodies that he produced. I went up to him while he was playing to observe his talent. I watched his fingers glide across the keyboard with such fluency. When he finished playing piano, I realized something even more marvilous. I realized that the man playing piano was blind. I was dumbfounded. How can someone who can't see play piano so well? I knew at that very moment that I too wanted to be able to play piano.
Learning piano was very interesting for me. Instead of taking a traditional aproach, I did something a bit more unconventional. Almost everything that I learned on piano, I taught myself. I learned songs through the use of YouTube tutorials. This was not the best idea, because now I'm not good at reading sheet music. Something that I am good at though is creating my own songs. Most of the time when I decide to sit down to play the piano, I create my own music. Every time I play the piano, I inent something new and creat a melody that no one has ever heard before. I enjoy creating my own music than playing music that is alrerady created. There is a certain element of beauty that comes with creation.
This is what a grand piano looks like. These pianos are extreemly expensive.
Upright pianos are made for people who don't have the space or money for a grand piano, but still want an acustic and non-electric piano.
